Review#1: Keeper Of The Lost Cities ( book one)

In my opinion, there is no better way to start off then by introducing the very first book of my very favorite series, Keeper of the Lost Cities by Shannon Messenger. I would reccomend this book from ages 9-100. It’s perfect for people who love fantasy and adventures and the same goes for the whole series. This book may seem overwhelming at first due to its thick exterior and lengthly interior. However, as many discover whether they are big readers, or people who can barely manage to finish one book this first book in the series is a page turner. I found that this story was both entertaining and informing. The book follows a young girl, Sophie Foster who is a child prodigy and has excelled so quickly that she attends high school and is thinking about college even though she is less than thirteen. Therefore, she has always felt different than those around her but she never suspected the cause might be due to her being a different species, and not just any, an elf. Sophie, with her knowledge of everything around her finds this very hard to believe, but soon she realizes it is the truth. After this realization, she struggles with many things she never thought she would have before, like school, but little does she know that there is a much deeper and more difficult struggle to come. You can tell me your thoughts on the book below in the comments box. -Noel
