As you may know, a week from today, September 22nd, is the first day of fall! And, so I can help you be prepared for the fall/Halloween season, I decided to share my favorite fall reads. Some, I have already done reviews on, while others I will just give a quick summary of.
- A Snake Falls to Earth:
Rating-10/10
For ages- 12+
Quick summary- This magical and mystical book tells the story of a girl named Nina who believes in magic, and a snake from the land of spirits who is cast from his home. Somehow, after an unusual event on earth takes place, both Nina’s and Oli’s worlds collide. This is a fantastic book filled with both suspense and adventure. - The Baby Sitters Club- Mary Anne’s Bad Luck Mystery
Rating-8/10
For ages- 9+
Quick summary- This quick but spooky graphic novel narrates the story of shy Mary Anne, who throws away a scary chain letter. After that, bad luck befalls her and her friend’s baby-sitting club. Plus, Mary Anne gets another note with a charm telling her to wear it, or else. But, who sent it? And will Mary Anne’s bad luck ever end? Soon, Halloween arrives, and Mary Anne finds herself in an even more spooky situation. I definetely recommend this book!

- A Tale of Witchcraft
Rating- 10/10
For ages- 10+
Quick Summary- This is a super wonderful and creepy fall read! However, I strongly recommend reading The Land Of Stories and A Tale Of Magic First ( Though if you would rather not, it would still make sense if you read only a Tale Of Magic) . - The Girl Who Drank the Moon-
Rating-10/10
For ages- 10+ ( Though I think older audiences would appreciate it more)
Quick Summary- This intriguing book tells the dark story of a town where every year, the people must sacrifice a baby to an evil witch who lives in a nearby forest. At least they think she is evil, but in truth she is not. The witch is actually Xan, a good witch who rescues the babies and feeds them starlight, and then delivers them to welcoming families in another town. One year, she feeds a baby moonlight instead, and the child ( Luna) is filled with magical powers, and she decides to raise her as her own. Soon, many problems arise. Read this book to find out what they are, and if they can be stopped.

- Wildwood-
Rating- 10/10
For ages- 10+
Quick Summary- A girl named Prue has to brave a magical wood to save her baby brother from crows. To get the full review, click on this link-https://noelsbookreviews.com/wildwood-book-one-of-the-wildwood-chronicles/

- The Witches-
Rating- 9/10
For ages- 8+
Quick Summary- This classic book by Roald Dahl tells the story of a boy who grew up with his grandmother telling the story of real witches, who hate children, and are even scarier then any fairy tale witches. Soon, this boy finds himself meeting real witches. Can he stop their evil plotting? Read this book ( or watch the movie) to find out.

Enjoy fall readers! 🙂
