Cinder is a wonderful book. I would rate it a 10/10. At first, I was a little reluctant to continue reading it, but as it went on it definitely got better. I think the ages 11-90 would enjoy it most. Cinder is a science fiction retelling of the classic fairy tale Cinderella and is based in the future in ” New Beijing”. Cinder is a cyborg mechanic who is mistreated by her stepmother and one of her stepsisters. And then one day she finds a pumpkin car in the dump. With this car, she hopes to escape New Beijing to a better life. However soon many things start to happen, and she wonders will she have time to escape? And after all these turns of events, does she want to?
