This craft is super easy ( it only took me about 5 minutes) and it can be made with materials you already have, so you don’t have to spend money. I will walk you through step by step, with pictures.
Materials for a medallion:
- 3 pieces of paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Waterbottle
- Pen/pencil
Materials for a party decoration:
- Hole puncher
- String
- 1 piece of paper
- Markers-Optional
- Accordian fold a piece of paper until you have no paper remaining. If there is extra, cut it off. Then, fold the accordian paper in half, so it makes a semi-circle like seen on the next step.

2. Repeat Step # 1 again.

3. Glue both accordian semi-circles together to make a full circle.

( If you wanted to make a party decoration, then use a hole puncher to punch a hole into the circle. Then, thread string through the hole and hang from ceiling to make a super fun and easy decoration for any party or event. Decorate with markers if desired. If you did not want to make a decoration, continue on to learn how to make a medallion)
4. Fold a piece of paper in half and draw a shape like shown below. Then, cut out the shape so you have two ” ribbons”

5. Flip over the accordian circle and glue the two “ribbons” onto the back.

6. Flip over again.

7. Use a waterbottle to draw a circle on another piece of paper. Cut the circle out.

8. Write on the circle an award of choice, I chose #1 reader.

9. Tape the award circle onto the rest of the medallion.

10. You finished! Nice job! 🙂
