When Life Gives You Mangos: Review # 7

The book When Life Gives You Mangos, is amazing! At first, to be honest, I was kind of bored out of my mind, but boy does it make up for it in the last hundred pages! I went from a 7/10 to an 11/10 . The book tells about Clara, a girl who is on an island that is beautiful, and small where in most cases everyone knows each other. The only thing out of the ordinary is that Clara doesn’t remember much of anything from last summer and , though she used to love surfing and playing in the water she is terrified of it now for a reason she is oblivious to. However, soon everything turns upside down when a girl from NEW YORK shows up in her home. Rudy, the girl, makes everything better and Clara begins to befriend her. Thank goodness Rudy shows up too, because lately, ever since last summer Gaynah ( Clara’s best friend) has been especially mean. What Clara can’t begin to figure out, is why?
