How to make a collage/vision board

Not everyone loves crafts, but many people love to make collages. In this post, I will be walking you through how I made a super fun collage and vision board for the year ahead.

1. The first step in making a collage is to pick a theme. For me, my theme was pink, green, and some brown. You don’t necessarily need a theme, but it does help your collage come together.
2. Now that you have picked your theme, look for photos and quotes that match your theme. My favorite place to look for these photos is on Pinterest, since they have many images that match nearly any theme.

3. After picking out general photos that match your theme, look for quotes that inspire you.

4. Next, think about your interests. I love reading, music, cats, and doing art. Therefore, I looked up pictures that related to these.

5. Think about your favorite TV shows or movies. Put pictures of these on your collage too.

6. Compile all of your favorite photos into one document in Google Docs or Canva. You may not use all of them, but make sure to have extra.

7. Print these photos out.

8. Cut all photos out and lay on top of each other as desired. I prefer if they overlap, but you can do whatever you want.

9. Glue onto cardstock or stiff piece of cardboard so you can put it on your wall.
