“Past perfect life”

I really enjoyed the book “Past Perfect Life” , and would rate it a 8/10. It would appeal to 12-20 year olds the most, but people who want an enthralling mystery/crime/fun book, than I totally think it would be a fit for you. It may not be appropriate for most 12 year old’s, or anyone younger do to “bad” words ( such as the S-word and F-word). Other than that, it would be totally appropriate. In this book, it starts off with “Ally” Smith, a studious high schooler who is stressed with normal things, like applying for colleges. She has a great life in a small town, with her best friend Marian, her good friend Neil, Marian & Neil’s family who treats her as part of the family too, and of course, her dad. Ally loves her dad ( her only real family member) more than anybody else, and she trusts him deeply. Until, one day, when she needs a social security number to apply for colleges, she is told by her town Sheriff that really, she is not Ally Smith. She is Amanda, a girl who was taken by her father, and away from her mom ( who she thought had died from cancer) who has been looking for her for many, many, years. Ally’s dad gets into a lot of trouble, so Ally is taken to live with her mom, who she has never met. Will Ally be okay? Will she be changed now that she is “Amanda”? Will she ever be able to forgive her dad? Read this awesome book to find out! For more information on the author and book, click here.
