“Sleep Like Death” Book Review

I highly recommend this amazing book ( based on Snow White) , if you are feeling whimsical and a little bit spooky. I rate this book a 10/10, and suggest it for audiences 12+. “Sleep Like Death” tells the story of a teenager named Eve, who loves and adores her mother very much. Eve is the princess of a kingdom ( her mother is the queen), which has been plagued by the wrong doings of ” The Knight”, a monster who will do anything to make people suffer. Countless lives, including the life of Eve’s other mother, have been lost to him. Eve’s one aspiration in life is to defeat him, once and for all. However, everything changes when Eve’s mother starts acting strange, talking to a mirror, and shutting Eve out. Soon, Eve finds the cause of this is a boy, who is speaking to her mother, as the Knights messenger. Soon, Eve and the boy form a forbidden friendship. Read this super Halloween-like book that will have you intrigued. If you liked this book, I loved Kalynn Bayron’s other book, ” Cinderella is Dead”. To see her other books, click here.

Oh, this sounds really enticing. Maybe we can have a book discussion on this! Love, DT

    • We could definitely do a book club meeting on this book, but only if you read it! 🙂
